Who gets Christ's wrath?
Jesus is explicitly on the side of the sex workers and deep state, and against many preachers and pastors
If Jesus was alive today, he’d see the books and coffee being sold at church, and start flipping tables. Then, he’d go outside, see a “hoe” in makeup and give her a bite to eat.
Prostitutes will be exalted:
He told the Pharisees, “the tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.” In modern terms, these would be girls with an OnlyFans, sex workers, and employees of the IRS, and by extension the entire apparatus of the deep state. In short, Jesus believes political lefties will get to heaven first. And this makes sense. Lefties do like Jesus. They at least don’t have a problem with him. What lefties don’t like is organized religion, Catholic pedophilia, etc. They might be surprised just how much Jesus also despises organized religion.
Jesus against even the concept of “teacher”, or what we’d now call a pastor:
“Everything they do is done for people to see… they love the place of honor.. and the most important seats in the synagogues… they love to be greeted with respect… and to be called ‘Rabbi’”.
“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi’, for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth ‘father’, for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah.”
Evangelism of Pharisees is less than useless:
“Woe to you , teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door to the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces… you travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make him twice as much a child of hell as you are.”
Doesn’t this remind us of anyone? Christians will go on missions (glorified vacations / dating scenes) to save people’s souls.
They have ugly hearts:
“You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill, and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter without neglecting the former. You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel”
Their righteousness is superficial:
“You clean the outside of the cup, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence…”
“You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead.”
He eggs them on and provokes them:
“You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. And you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. Go ahead, then, and complete what your ancestors started!”
“You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? Therefore I am sending your prophets and sages and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town.”
Jesus has a lot of venom for these Pharisees. You won’t find him speaking like this to prostitutes. He wants us to be humble and kind.
Case Study: Kent Hovind
One of the big creationists back in the day tried to bring people to God by teaching them that the Genesis story could be taken to be literally true. He got in trouble for not paying his taxes. In doing so, he showed himself to be a Pharisee. Jesus was in favor of paying taxes.
Jesus said, “you shall know them by their fruits”, and Hovind’s fruits are rotten. When I was young, my parents encouraged me to watch his lectures. He was entertaining, but not believing him wasn’t an option. I either had to take the entire Bible as literally true, or reject the whole thing. If I picked pieces, then I would be accused of cherry-picking. And I was told I’d go to hell if I rejected the Bible. When I finally figured I should look at the other side, I quickly sided with the scientific consensus, and my parents freaked out. It took me many years before the conservative Biblical frame faded enough for me to look at the Bible with fresh eyes and see just how radical the Jesus was.
Another example is this multi-part story.
